Unflinching, Eye-opening film.

  • Genre: Documentary
  • Runtime: 100mins
  • Language: Czech
  • Subtitle: English

PLOT: Documentaries on exploring the world of sexual abuse of underage children.

Two directors, choosing 3 actresses to play like 12-year-old children to see what happens when they signup for in social media popular chatrooms.

Few places are indigestible and put us into a shock as the internet was created to be utopian but it has other faces too which can be seen in the title card and the credits as well.
The movie has an intriguing screenplay, everyone should watch and should be clear in our way forward.

THE SPELL (2019)

June 21, 2020

Movie for horror genre lovers.

  • Released Year: 2019
  • Genre: Horror
  • Language: Khmer (Cambodia)
  • Runtime: 84mins

A vengeance spirit shatters a couple's life in their new home.

After years of living in the city, Nak and his wife Thida move to his childhood home in the country, close to the beach. Planned on starting a family, both already dream of raising their children in this beautiful environment surrounded by the jungle and next to the ocean. As Nak used to work in the city, Thida lives alone along with her housekeeper quite often.

However, soon enough strange events keep Thida awake at night. Beginning with tap running and pools of water in the house which mysteriously disappear from one moment to the other, the young couple soon senses another presence in the house. And when the spirit starts attacking Thida, the young woman realizes their lives are in great danger.

In the case of “The Spell” director cleverly relies on the background score, which, combined with the atmospheric lighting which provides an environment of more and more hostile as the film progresses.

“The Spell” is a moody, tense horror film blended with family drama. “The Spell” is a worthwhile entry into the genre with many scary scenes and imagery.

My VR Critique Rating: 5.9/10

  • Plot: 6/10
  • Screenplay: 6/10
  • Cinematography: 6.5/10
  • Acting: 5/10
  • Background Score: 6.5/10

Likes and Dislikes

  • The plot is known and tasted a lot like this which is making bored.
  • Cinematography is good in places like the detailing of the house, outdoor places.
  • Screenplay was great on some Goosebumps moment but draggy on the rest.
  • Characters are not appropriate which made fabby in screenplay.

Loosely packed Content…..

  •  Who Can Watch: 18+
  • Genre: Drama, Crime
  • Runtime: 90 mins

  • Story of Range Rover Essex Boys of Rettendon.

  • Someone is narrating the story to a reporter, it was not explained clearly, the pre-intermission is very slow with the selling of drugs, killing the opposite group for taking the place.
  • Post-Intermission is also the same, where there is no proper plot of it. Too much of F** words which are making us grimace.
  • Acting
  • Fabby choosing of characters even the protagonist of the movie.

Background score

  • It started with a great hype but was faded like the uncooked story and screenplay.

Will recommend others to watch: NO
