SEE is released in Apple tv+ on 1st November 2019, the series was created by Steven Knight known for Peaky Blinders, Locke. Jason Momoa plays a pivotal role in the series. The series has eight episodes with an average runtime of sixty minutes. The series explains the survival, love, care, Sense of sight, politics, betrayal.

In the future, the entire human race was demised due to a virus except a few who were lost their sense of sight.  With the help of olfactory tactics, they learned the sense of sight, new ways to build, interact, and hunt to Survive.

Baba Voss (Jason Momoa), head of a civilization community living with Maghra (Hera Hilmar) who's past was a mystery came to this civilization in her early stage of pregnancy. Baba Voss married her and they are expecting the baby to born in this world. She gave birth to a twin and named them Kofun and Haniwa who have the ability to see the world. Hence Baba Voss, Maghra along with Paris (Alfre Woodard): Their well-wisher, plans to hide this secret from the world of blinded sight.

Meanwhile, in the kingdom which is ruled by Queen Kane (Sylvia Hoeks), ordering her troops lead by Tamacti Jun (Christian Camargo) to hunt a man called Jerlamarel who was said to be the murderer of her sister. Eventually, Jerlamarel is said to be the original father of the twins who also have a sense of sight. Baba Voss comes to know about it from Jerlamarel, Jerlamarel asked Baba Voss to hand over a gift of knowledge to his kids on their sixteenth birthday.

The troops led by Tamacti arrive at the community of Baba Voss as he has information that Jerlamarel is here. Baba Voss along with his families and the people of the community leaves that place and moves to a new place as advised by Jerlamarel in his information thread (A knotted thread which has information) to save his children.

Sixteen years later, the twins grown, as per their blood father request Baba Voss has given the knowledge of power to his children without revealing to her wife. The kids grow their knowledge and realized their blood father is building a place called “The city of Enlightenment” and they can come to him anytime. When the kingdom and the queen know that Jerlamarel has children, the queens orders to hunt Jerlamarel and the kids.

When the troops arrive at the new place, again Baba Voss, his families, and a few of the people leave the community and decides to go for the city of enlightenment. What happens next, do the children met their original father? What mystery does Maghra holds? Who is Jerlamarel?

The eagerness of guessing was spread all over the series from the start. The plot was to save the sighted kids but it got slowed down with added subplots to it in the middle. The start of a few episodes are embracing which got shrunken in later episodes due to unfinished screenplay. The writer has kept some action sequences to hold the story to the very end. The sons and the daughters of Jermarel were outlandish and the climax slipped to be impressing.

Jason Momoa is the glue to the entire series, his acting was engrossing the audience. The characterization was spellbinding, He was fiery before his children come into the world, once they are born, he becomes subtle, caring, and not willing to take a risk. When there is a risk to his family, he will be the one who becomes a violent monster.

The fight choreography was splendid especially in the tunnel where Baba saves his abducted son. The cinematography was eye-catchy. The background score has traveled along with the screenplay.

Overall, a wonderful series that went sidetracked with unfinished answers. Season 1 was desperately created to have more seasons which confuses the audience, whether the sighted children reach their blood father to create a sighted world is a plot? Or the rise of Maghra as a queen? If you want to watch a fantasy kind of series with action-packed on, this will give the pleasure but ultimately it is not for binge spree.
