Season 2 of the Kingdom explains more about the connections to the disease. Gruesome scenes are guaranteed like season 1. Season 2 is of six episodes with a runtime between 38-52mins. Suggesting to watch it in its own language with the subtitles ON and do watch it with proper surroundings and audio output to enjoy completely.

Kingdom season one ended with a surprise for Chang and his men when a crowd of zombies is about to attack in full daylight. Prince Chang and his men understood that it is not about the sunlight, it about the temperature. As the winter incoming and the temperature is cold, zombies are started to search for live meat. They somehow escaped from the zombie attack and reach Sangju. From there few of the soldiers along with Prince Chang taking charge to the capital for taking revenge.

Meanwhile, Seo-bi is searching for the cure. In the capital city Hanyang, national armies received a complaint that there are female bodies are being found along with newborn infants near to queen’s palace which made them suspicious. A team of soldiers started to investigate the same. In the meantime, the queen along with her maids vigorously searching for a boy infant to take control of the throne.

What happened next? Do Prince Chang avenged the people who made his father resurrected? Does he become king? Why the queen searching for a boy infant? Does Seo-bi found the cure?

Like Season one, season 2 is also much intriguing and fascinating. Season 2 explains more about the connection of the evolution of the disease and how it was used during the Korean- Japanese war. The screenplay was great in connecting all main characters who are indifferent missions. Season 2 takes enough time in explaining the story properly which was skeptical in season 1. When compared to season 1, season 2 is more emotional, less gruesome. The visuals are again mind-blowing.

Zombies: this time, they are very furious, scary, resurrect quickly after a single bite. Again, the star performers. Hats-off to the cinematographers and choreographers who have given an intensive horror scene especially in episode 6. My favorite part of season 2 is the final survival battle in the kingdom. Wow, Marvelous. All whitely dressed people resurrect to zombies, deadly following the alive with white dress stained into the red.

Overall, Season 2 has given a hint for season 3. The disease was not completely eradicated, Change and Seo-bi are in progress of finding the spread to destroy it. It has the potential to grow as the base storyline was very strong.
